EQC Granted Injunction Over Leaked Email...

The Earthquake Commission has been granted AN interim injunction to prevent details of a leaked email containing details of thousands of shoppers from being shared.

The injunction was served on Christchurch insurance advocate Bryan Staples and a blogger called EQC Truths on Mon.
Two weeks agone, mister Staples the director of Earthquake Services, received in error AN EQC email containing the small print of eighty three,000 quake-damaged properties.
A blogger World Health Organization writes beneath the name EQC Truths says he received identical email on four Gregorian calendar month from a discontent worker at the commission.
The blogger is providing to supply householders with details if they'll prove their identities.
EQC chief govt Ian Simpson says the injunction on each parties was necessary, as neither had authorised access to the data and that they were actively engaged in distributing it.
Mr Simpson says the commission is decided to not increase any distress caused by the first leak.
Bryan Staples says he has since deleted the e-mail, however concerning two hundred individuals visited his company on Mon wanting access to the blogger's information and he has conjointly received concerning a thousand emails.
